Real Estate Matters
The practice of real estate law encompasses a number of areas. The breadth of the area runs from the purchase or sale of real estate to leases, and includes tax-free exchanges, loan related transactions, zoning, condominium filings, and landlord-tenant disputes. All of these require the advice of counsel on matters ranging from how to take title to real estate to formulating the precise language in a real estate purchase/sale agreement. Each party in a transaction can have his/her/its own attorney who can provide guidance as to their specific needs.
We represent buyers and sellers in the drafting and review of purchase and sale agreements and other issues attendant to the purchase and sale of real estate. This includes residential property as well as commercial property. The transactions we have handled have ranged from the purchase or sale of single family residences to purchase and sale transactions involving large apartment complexes and the redevelopment of downtown San Diego.
